After months of reading through your reviews, poring over your survey answers (we emailed you last year asking about your favorite K-beauty products), digging into formulas and results, we saw 17 products that rose to the top. What's your fave product from our award series?
It's really hard to choose, but the standout ones for me are The Lotus Essence with 89% Lotus Extract, the Shangpree S- Energy Serum and the Eco Your Skin Volufiline 15 Eye Essence. The Lotus Essence is a milky toner, but turns clear and watery as it's spread across the skin. It's so lightweight and my skin just drinks it up. It's a great hydration booster that also brightens.The Shangpree Serum is luxuriously lightweight and contains propolis, botanicals and skin-soothing panthenol. It sinks right into my skin and leaves my face looking luminous. I also love that it has zero stickiness to it. Lastly, the Eco Your Skin Volufiline 15 Eye Essence is so unique. I've never used a product with this texture, it's a firm gel that also feels like a thin balm. It glides effortlessly across the skin to plump up fine lines and leaves a beautifully smooth base for undereye makeup. I've also been using it on neck lines and I've noticed that a couple of them are less noticeable now.

What do you to de-stress?
I have three kids and work full time, so it's challenging to find time for myself. Listening to music is a great de-stressor and mood lifter for me.I also love cuddling with my dog while online shopping at night, when the house is quiet.She's the best shopping companion, paws/hands down!
What are 3 things people don't know about you?
- I'm an ISFP
- I learned to speed-read when I was 10, when my mom enrolled me in a summer course
- I'm horrible at parallel parking. Just, abysmal.
What is your favorite place in the world?
Home! I'm a homebody, so I love being home.
Dream vacation spot?
I would love to visit Paris.
Who's your hero?
My parents. They sacrificed so much to bring our family over to the U.S. from Korea. Now that I'm a parent, I have a renewed appreciation for how challenging it was for them to move to a new country, learn new customs and leave everything familiar and comfortable behind.I wonder if I could ever do that and I can't even imagine myself doing anything that brave. So, they'll always be my heroes.
What inspires you?
I've always loved beauty products, so new brands and new ingredients inspire me to explore and see what other products are out there. I also get inspiration from all around me, from the beautiful California weather, to interesting colors, textures and shapes. Inspiration is all around.
Best tip for aspiring influencers?
Don't stop learning and growing. Also, post about the things that interest you and that bring you joy and like-minded users will find you.
